Indoor fitness equipment dimensions and space, with sources

Compare manufacturer-published dimensions for three walking pads and the Concept2 RowErg. The square-foot figures are bounding rectangles calculated from published length and width; they describe the equipment footprint only, not the full space needed to exercise.

Known stored sizes and the RowErg's separate training and free-area recommendations are shown on their own. Dimensions not established in the checked sources and unconfirmed regional guidance remain blank or explicitly qualified.

Dimensions and manufacturer space guidance by model

Equipment rectangles use the published length × width. They are not recommended exercise areas. The RowErg training area (4 × 9 ft) and free area (6 × 11 ft) are separate figures from its manual; C2 clearance text comes from a UK manual whose US applicability is unconfirmed. Scroll sideways on a phone to see every column.

Product page: 300 lb
Manual: 265 lb

Product-page dimensions are the handlebar-up dimensions, not a separately published folded or walking-mode size. Separate folded dimensions are not established in the checked sources. UREVO gives 43.4 lb and 43.6 lb in different places. Capacity conflicts: product page 300 lb; manual model URTM059 265 lb. The manual's 1.2 m side-to-side and 2 m front-to-back wording is ambiguous and is not converted to a room area.

Stowed dimensions and a US clearance rectangle are not established in the checked sources. The US page promotes vertical storage, but the linked W50 MR-T25 EU manual (220-240 V) forbids upright storage; identical US storage instructions are not established, so upright storage is unresolved. The EU manual gives 30.5 kg, conflicting with the US page's 69.2 lb; the US page value is recorded here without converting the regional manual figure.

The maker's US page gives the dimensions and 55 lb weight. Its UK WPS1F manual gives 26 kg and 125 mm height, versus 25 kg and 128 mm on the US page. The manual prohibits vertical or lateral placement and specifies clearance in millimetres; US applicability is unconfirmed, so no US exercise-area rectangle is calculated. Stored footprint uses the published flat-folded length and width.

The 96 x 24 in machine dimensions exclude the 14 in seat height, which is not overall machine height. Stored dimensions preserve the source's 25 x 33 x 54 in two-piece envelope; the assembled machine must not be stored upright. Concept2's manual distinguishes a 4 x 9 ft training area from a 6 x 11 ft free area; neither should be confused with the 16 ft² equipment footprint.

Method and reuse

Last checked October 1, 2026.

Scope. This snapshot covers the UREVO Strol 2E Pro, MERACH NovaWalk W50 TrekPad, WalkingPad C2, and Concept2 RowErg with standard legs. Dimensions and guidance are transcribed from the linked manufacturer pages and manuals; source labels, URLs, caveats, and the check date are also included in the CSV.

How to read area. We calculate a rectangular equipment footprint as length in inches × width in inches ÷ 144. This geometric rectangle does not account for motion, clearance, cables, access, or furniture. The RowErg manual separately describes 36 ft² for training and 66 ft² as a free area. The 9 × 4 ft and 11 × 6 ft rectangles are not interchangeable with each other or the machine's 16 ft² equipment footprint.

Unknowns and conflicts. Unknown stored dimensions and clearance values are not estimated. The W50's US vertical-storage promotion conflicts with a linked EU manual that forbids upright storage, so its US storage method remains unresolved. The C2's clearance and some specifications come from a UK manual and are not presented as confirmed US guidance. UREVO's product page and manual publish different capacity figures; both are listed with their source context.

Analysis, not testing. Kit Authority performed the arithmetic and source comparison for this dataset; no equipment was physically measured and no independent safety or exercise-area test was conducted.

Reuse. You are welcome to cite these figures, link to this page, or quote rows with credit to Kit Authority and a link back. Reuse follows our terms; to republish the full table, ask first.
