The Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter XT solves one specific overnight problem inside the hammock itself: insects. Its no-see-um net zips to the body and uses two spreader bars to pull mesh away from the sleeper's face.

Skeeter Beeter XT fits warm-weather campers near lakes, humid forests, and other places where exposed skin becomes the nightly attraction. It is especially useful for occasional campers who do not want to size and rig a separate net.

Integrated net advantages

Because the mesh is attached, coverage is consistent around the hammock edge and there is no separate net to center over the ridgeline. The spreader bars create headroom and reduce the closed-in feeling common to basic draped nets.

The hammock can also be flipped so the net hangs below for ordinary open use. That preserves versatility, but the mesh and spreader system still travel with the hammock and account for much of its extra weight.

What it does not replace
