Searches for the Pacsafe Vibe 325 now lead into a naming problem. Pacsafe's current product page labels the 10 L shape V Tech Anti-Theft Sling Pack, while its URL and years of owner coverage still use Vibe 325. The current listing is the high-capacity sling in our anti-theft travel bag guide.

BEST HIGH-CAPACITY

Pacsafe V Tech Anti-Theft Sling Pack (Vibe 325)

Best for: Travelers carrying an 11-inch tablet, bottle, and full city-day kit who need more room than a crossbody without moving to a backpack.

Kit Score 8.4/10 · $100–$150

  • Ten-liter capacity and an 11-inch tablet sleeve bridge the gap between small crossbodies and full daypacks
  • eXomesh, a Dyneema-reinforced strap, PopNLock buckle, and Roobar Sport zipper anchor form Pacsafe's most complete security package in this group
  • At 1.23 lb empty it is heavier than the crossbody options, and the wide strap can feel bulky on narrower frames after a full day

What changed

Older retail copy describes the Vibe 325 as a 10 L anti-theft sling. Pacsafe's current page keeps the Vibe URL but uses the V Tech name. The current Amazon variant also has a newer ASIN than several dead or unavailable Vibe listings.

More importantly, the current manufacturer specification says the padded sleeve fits an iPad Pro 11-inch. It does not promise a 13-inch laptop. Old reviews and reseller copy that repeat the larger device claim should not decide a current purchase.

Who it is for

This is for the traveler who wants a daypack load but prefers sling access. Ten liters can accommodate an 11-inch tablet, a bottle, compact shell, glasses, charger, passport wallet, and small camera more realistically than any crossbody in the guide.

The sling also rotates from the back to the front without removal. That is useful on a train, at a checkout, or in a crowd where the wearer wants visual control over the zipper.

It is excessive for documents and pocket essentials. The Pacsafe GO weighs about half as much, and the Travelon Classic offers useful organization at a lower price.

Pacsafe's current V Tech/Vibe 325 page supports the current name, capacity, device fit, materials, and hardware.

The security system fits the larger load

eXomesh reinforces the body. The Carrysafe Dyneema strap and PopNLock buckle make a rapid strap attack harder. Roobar Sport gathers compatible zipper pulls at one locking point, while RFIDsafe material protects the designated document pocket.

The main benefit is not that these parts are unbeatable. It is that the bag makes a quick, quiet opening require more time and visible manipulation. That works best when the owner closes the system after every access.

Carry comfort and access

A single broad sling strap distributes 1.23 lb of empty-bag weight plus the load across one shoulder. Rotation to the front is convenient, but the asymmetry can become tiring over a very long day. Buyers with shoulder sensitivity should compare a two-strap daypack.

Security clips also slow the owner. Practice opening and closing the Roobar Sport at home, and decide which low-value items can live in the quickest pocket.

What it does well

  • Offers more than twice the capacity of the Travelon Classic.
  • Fits an 11-inch iPad Pro in a padded sleeve.
  • Rotates to the front for controlled access without removing the bag.
  • Combines body reinforcement, strap reinforcement, a locking buckle, anchored zippers, and RFID storage.
  • Uses recycled 750D polyester with a PFC-free finish.

Where it gives ground

  • Current manufacturer specifications do not support a 13-inch laptop claim.
  • At 1.23 lb empty, it is heavy relative to 2.5 L crossbodies.
  • One-shoulder carry can fatigue the wearer when the 10 L body is fully loaded.
  • Current price is substantially higher than Travelon and the GO models.

Frequently asked questions

Was the Pacsafe Vibe 325 discontinued?

The old name and several old listings have changed or disappeared. Pacsafe's current product page uses the V Tech Anti-Theft Sling Pack name while retaining the Vibe 325 URL and 10 L form. Shop by current specifications and current ASIN rather than the legacy name alone.

Does the Pacsafe Vibe 325 fit a laptop?

Pacsafe's current page specifies an iPad Pro 11-inch fit. Do not purchase it for a 13-inch laptop based on older reseller copy. Compare the full device dimensions, including its case.

Can the sling be worn on either shoulder?

The current strap geometry should be checked against Pacsafe's product images and instructions. Even when a sling can move across the torso, buckle placement and pocket access may favor one orientation.

Is 10 L enough for a full travel day?

Yes for an 11-inch tablet, bottle, compact layer, documents, and small electronics. It is not a replacement for a 20 L daypack when carrying a camera kit, food, or clothing for multiple people.
